Requirements for using safety signboards

      The height of signboards should be set as close as possible to the eye level of people.

      Environmental information for suspended and column-mounted types

      The height of the lower edge of the signboard from the ground should not be less than 2m; the setting height of local information signs should be determined according to specific circumstances. The signboard should be placed in a prominent place related to safety, and ensure that everyone has sufficient time to notice its content after seeing it.

      Environmental information signs should be placed at the entrance and prominent locations of relevant places; local information signs should be placed at prominent locations near the corresponding hazardous locations or equipment (components) involved.

      Signboards should not be placed on movable objects such as doors, windows, and shelves, to prevent safety signs from being invisible after the objects are moved. No obstacles that hinder reading should be placed in front of the signboards. The angle between the plane of the signboard and the line of sight should be close to 90°, and the minimum angle should not be less than 75° when the observer is at the maximum observation distance.
