Hazards of Metal Fumes to the Human Body

Welder's Pneumoconiosis: Long-term inhalation of fumes (primarily iron oxide) and harmful gases leads to pulmonary fibrosis.

Manganese Poisoning: Long-term inhalation of manganese particles and vapors exceeding permissible concentrations.
Symptoms: Mental abnormalities, sensory disturbances, irritability, tremors, paralysis, hypotension, dyspnea, coma, and even respiratory failure.

Metal Fume Fever:Long-term welding work involving inhalation of iron oxides and fluorides.
